Goods Vehicles: The Latest Month
Compared with September 2026, RUC sales for goods vehicles were 1.2% higher. The difference in recorded sales value was $1,772,741.89. This compares two individual calendar months; it does not adjust for the number of days or when licences were bought.
Against October 2025, RUC Sales were 2.2% lower. Kilometres Sold were 3.7% lower, while Licences Sold were 2.3% lower. These measures describe different parts of the same sales activity, so their percentage changes can differ.
In October 2026, the selection covered 969,112,651 Kilometres Sold across 230,979 Licences Sold. That is an average of about 4,196 kilometres per licence sold. This is a sales measure: distance can be used after the month of purchase, and a vehicle can account for several licences.
